- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2 to 5 years of related experience OR Master’s degree in a related discipline with 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Pennsylvania state licensure in your discipline (or eligible for licensure)
- OT applicants: Board certification from NBCOT
- SLP applicants: Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
- RD applicants: Completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) approved program
- Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment
- Not on CMS Exclusion List
- Valid driver’s license with at least 6 months of driving experience
- Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively As an Early Intervention Therapist, you’ll partner with families to support development, independence, and well-being through community-based therapy services. You’ll play a key role in helping children reach milestones and supporting caregivers with practical, hands-on strategies.
- What
- You’ll Do:
- Assist in developing outcomes, strategies, and data collection methods based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
- Assess the needs, interests, and abilities of the child and family to determine appropriate ways to help meet functional goals related to therapy or nutrition services
- Provide families with individual session notes that include outcomes, strategies used, recommendations, and plans for the next session
- Provide updates and information for quarterly reviews and annual evaluations in accordance with county guidelines
- Offer support, feedback, and practical strategies to help families assist their child in achieving IFSP goals
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with IFSP team members to meet the needs of the child and family
- Fulfill transportation requirements to complete home visits and community-based therapy sessions
- Maintain current mandated paperwork including state license, clearances, required training, and certifications related to your discipline Why UCP?
