The teacher will execute a rigorous, standards-based curriculum by planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons, while constantly using daily data analysis to track and meet ambitious student goals. Key duties also involve active participation in professional development, collaboration with teams, and maintaining an engaging, safe classroom culture.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a valid teaching certification for Middle Grades Math, with a preference for a degree in Middle Grades Math or a related field. Essential qualifications include proven middle school classroom experience, a strong understanding of state standards, and a commitment to anti-racist principles and student growth.
