High School CTE - Patient Care Technician - West Region

The patient care assistant provides direct care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse, including assistance with daily living activities and mobility. They are also responsible for continuous patient observation, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting the overall patient care team.

Candidates must be high school students enrolled in a cte program and possess or be willing to attain basic life support certification. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and knowledge of infection control and patient care standards.
