Head Start Instructional Assistant

The instructional assistant supports the head start teacher in implementing educational activities and fostering the social, emotional, and physical development of preschool children. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring a safe classroom environment, and promoting inclusive learning for all students.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and hold or be enrolled in a child development associate (Cda) credential program. Strong communication skills and experience working with children in a team environment are required.
