Early Head Start Teacher

The early head start teacher is primarily responsible for all aspects of care and education for enrolled children, including physical caregiving, developmental assessments, and implementing age-Appropriate curricula for toddlers. This role also involves ensuring safe and healthy learning environments and may require serving as a center assistant to provide coverage during staff breaks and operations.

Candidates must possess an infant/Toddler child development associate (Cda) credential or equivalent college coursework, along with strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively both independently and in a team. Essential physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift up to 45 pounds and perform various movements like standing, walking, and crouching.
