The assistant will work with classroom teachers to facilitate the curriculum, daily activities, and schedule for children aged 18 to 36 months. Responsibilities include supervising children, guiding their exploration, and maintaining a safe, healthy, and engaging classroom environment.
Candidates must possess or be able to acquire a State of Ohio Education issued teaching license or a One Year Educational Aide Permit. Excellent verbal communication, organizational skills, and a positive, collaborative attitude are required.

The Early Learner Program is for 18-month-old through 36-month-old children. The hours of the Early Learner Assistant will be from 7:30-12:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Depending on registration, the addition of Monday and/or Friday mornings may be a possibility. The hourly Assistant will work with the classroom teachers to facilitate the schedule, the curriculum, and the activities planned for each morning. S/he will also help to maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment by assisting in the supervision of the children while ensuring that classroom rules are followed.

The successful candidate must possess or acquire and maintain a State of Ohio Education issued teaching license which can include a One Year Educational Aide Permit. She or he must have a positive attitude, excellent verbal skills, solid organizational skills, and demonstrate success in a work-setting requiring collaboration, cooperation, and collegiality.
