Job description

  • PART TIME-DAYS About Beaumont Children’s Center Pediatric care clinic with special needs and their families will be supported throughout their unique life journey.
  • Scope of Work The Behavior Technician will report to the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Board-Certified assistant Behavior Analyst at Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families.
  • The Behavior Technician shall be responsible for implementing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.
  • Qualifications Candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred experience in childcare or work with children with special needs, mental health related experience or education, interest or class work in Allied Health Degrees.
  • Candidate must be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician, currently enrolled in Registered Behavior Technician training, or commitment to complete Registered Behavior Technician training at the Beaumont Exceptional Families Autism Center and obtain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Exposure to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Ability to model intervention for trainees and patients’ family members.
