Temporary Burris Athletic Coach Compensation: 43,888.00 - 121,944.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual Department: Burris Laboratory School - Temp A Start Date: 10/01/2025 About this opportunity: Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Hours will include evenings and some weekends. Compensation is determined by specific role and responsibilities and normal range is $500.00-$6000.00 for the season. Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position function: Provide coaching and training to student athletes. Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of applicable sport Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration. Duties/Responsibilities: Coaching and Training: Develop and implement training programs Student Development: Help students establish personal and team goals. Game Management: Plan game strategies, select players Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary. Promote sportsmanship among athletes. Administrative Tasks: record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director.
