Core responsibilities
The employment specialist coaches individuals with developmental disabilities to develop independent job skills and assists them in securing competitive employment. They work side-By-Side with clients at job sites and maintain accurate documentation of progress.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-Time work experience supporting people with disabilities. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass background and drug screenings are also required.
