Core responsibilities
The employment specialist coaches individuals with developmental disabilities to develop independent job skills and assists them in securing competitive employment. They work directly at job sites to reinforce skills such as resume building, interviewing, and application completion.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of full-Time experience supporting people with disabilities. A valid driver's license with a satisfactory record and the ability to pass background and drug screenings are also required.
