The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to respectfully assist people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency through direct services, education, and community partnerships.
CAP is seeking an Assistant Teacher for their Early Childhood Program. The Head Start Assistant Teacher helps in providing high quality and comprehensive child development instruction to children and parents, and aids in classroom leadership.
Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or Associate's Degree or Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required. Reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS driver's license is required.
This is a full-time, 11-month position. The hourly rate is $18.20 /hr, 37.5 hrs/wk for 45 wks/yr.
