This includes laboratory and/or clinical instruction within the Radiologic Science Program. Part-Time faculty are encouraged to participate in course and curriculum development, program and course assessment, student advice, college service, and professional development.

- Faculty member’s responsibilities may include: Provide X-ray laboratory instruction, including demonstration of radiographic positioning, equipment operation, radiation safety, and image evaluation. Supervise and evaluate student performance in the radiography lab setting, ensuring safe and accurate practice of radiographic procedures. Supervise student clinical activities in the College’s Associate Degree Radiography Program. Provide students with clinical instruction and evaluate student clinical performance through direct observation in clinical education settings. Complete program documentation on a weekly basis. Attend and provide input during program meetings. Remain knowledgeable of the Radiologic Science Program’s goals, policies, and procedures and ensure these are implemented in both lab and clinical settings. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that reflects current professional and regulatory standards. Other duties as assigned. The candidate must be in compliance with ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) with a minimum of 2 years of work experience. Additional post-primary certification and a Bachelor's degree are preferred. ABOUT HARCUM COLLEGE Harcum College is an independent, coeducational, fully accredited, residential college.
