Position Summary

Harcum College seeks an Adjunct Clinical Faculty for its Dental Hygiene Program. This part-time 15-20 hours per week clinical faculty member will be responsible for the clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students in the dental hygiene program. This position plays a key role in promoting student success and ensuring excellence in patient care, clinical education, and program accreditation compliance. Clinical faculty work collaboratively with academic faculty and staff to support the mission, goals, and outcomes of the dental hygiene program Key Responsibilities  Provide clinical instruction and supervision to the dental hygiene students in on-campus and/or affiliated clinics.  Monitor, evaluate, and document student performance in clinical skills, professional behavior and patient care.  Maintain student and patient safety by enforcing infection control, HIPAA compliance, and clinical protocol.  Collaborate with other faculty to ensure consistency in clinical evaluation and grading.  Participate in program-related administrative tasks, such as accreditation preparation.  Attend and contribute to faculty meetings, professional development, and departmental planning  Maintain licensure, certifications, and professional development in accordance with program and accreditation requirements Assist with  Inventory for Harcum Dental Clinic  Equipment Maintenance and Supply orders  Participate in Special Labs and Clinic: Perio Lab, Sealant Day, ADEX preparation Qualifications  Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene license  Professional experience as a Dental Hygienist  Bachelor’s degree preferred About Harcum College Harcum College is a private, fully accredited residential college founded in 1915.
