Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is hiring a Teacher for The Excel Center, our free public high school for adult learners. This role supports students in earning their high school diploma while preparing for post‑secondary education and career success.

About the Role

Teachers at The Excel Center lead a student‑centered, flexible learning environment designed for adult learners with diverse academic backgrounds. You will meet students where they are—adapting instruction to support individual learning needs and helping them stay engaged, motivated, and on track to graduate.

This role combines instruction, mentorship, and collaboration in a team‑based environment focused on student success.

  • Deliver engaging instruction aligned with Maryland Academic Standards
