Teacher, Social Studies & ELA, Elementary School (4th & 5th Grade)(EX)(2026-2027)-St. Joan of Arc, Aberdeen MD

St. Joan of Arc, located in Aberdeen, Maryland, is seeking to hire a full-time Social Studies and ELA Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year.

The Social Studies & ELA Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our 4th and 5th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.

• Essential Functions
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
• Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students.
• Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
• Integrate technology into the classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members in educating students.

• Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Current or pending MSDE certification.
• Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Pay Range

$45,000 - $55,000, Annualized
