Job description

  • The Shady Grove Family YMCA is currently seeking part time positive role models to help run our Kinder Camp!
  • This part time position starts at $15.00 per hour.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • DUTIES of a Kinder Camp Counselor Providing an engaging camp experience for children ages 3-6.
  • Assisting with crafts, games, outdoor play, set up and clean up.
  • Assist with purchasing supplies for camp and oversee implementation of the Y mission and cause by modeling our core values.
  • The counselor position will assist supervisors with daily camp activity.
  • QUALIFICATIONS of a Kinder Camp Counselor Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have experience working with children.
  • A degree in a related field is preferred but not required for counselors.
  • Candidates must work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
