The instructor is responsible for coordinating all aqua aerobics program activities and ensuring a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for participants. They must represent the organization in a positive, professional, and courteous manner.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with current Aqua Fitness, CPR, and First Aid certifications. Applicants are also expected to attend YMCA Health & Fitness workshops when offered.
We are looking for a seasonal aqua aerobics/aqua fitness instructor to serve as a subsitute, with the potential for a regular class as the schedule allows.
The Aqua Aerobic Instructor will represent the Old Colony Y in a positive, professional manner, resulting in friendly, convenient and courteous service. The Aqua Aerobic Instructor will be responsible for coordinating all program activities and ensuring a safe, healthy and constructive environment for all participants involved with the program.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
Current CPR and First Aid Certifications: Attend Principles of YMCA Health & Fitness workshops when offered
