Special Education Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant provides individualized instruction and supportive classroom assistance to special education students. They work with students ranging from 6 to 22 years old who have various physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with an associate degree, two years of college study, or a passing score on a skills assessment. Additionally, applicants are required to hold cpr and first aid training certificates.
