Fitness & Aquatic Center (FAC) Job Type Part time Benefits at Loyola https://www.loyola.edu/department/people-culture/benefits/ Anticipated Start Date 05/06/2026 If Temporary or Visiting, Estimated End Date 08/28/2026 Position Duties Responsible for the supervision and education to swimmers, facility supervision, facility maintenance, and administration of the department emergency action plan. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or the equivalent, a current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification, a current American Red Cross First Aid certification, or the equivalents, and be in good physical condition (as determined by a pre-requisite skills test) is required. Also responsible for cleaning and general maintenance, including rust removal of Aquatic Center equipment and facilities. Reports to the Assistant Director, Operations and Aquatics. Lifeguard Certification CPR & AED Certification Compensation Final compensation offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, job-related experience, internal equity, and alignment with organizational budget. Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
