The lecturer will teach the ADN program core curriculum, supervise labs, and coordinate clinical training sites. Additionally, they will manage student records, advise students, and participate in departmental projects and college committees.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) and a current New Mexico RN license. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing and at least one year of post-secondary teaching experience.

The Health Sciences Division and Program of Nursing at UNM-Valencia is accepting applications for a Lecturer II or III in Nursing at UNM-Valencia. This posting is for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track position. The position begins August 10, 2026. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch community college associated with the University of New Mexico. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers vocational and technical courses as well as academic transfer courses to the citizens of Valencia and northern Socorro counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of approximately 2,000 each semester.
