Position Summary

The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary, part-time faculty to teach Nursing courses in a clinical setting. This will be a Fall 2026 recruitment. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and Socorro. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Education Active NM RN License or multistate RN compact license

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Nursing Education At least two years of clinical nursing experience A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to thesuccess of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
