Preschool Teacher - Head Start

The head start teacher promotes the social-Emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development of preschool children through curriculum implementation and active classroom supervision. They also partner with families, conduct developmental screenings, and maintain accurate documentation of child progress and attendance.

Candidates must possess at least a high school diploma or ged along with a cda or early childhood degree, depending on the specific teacher level. Additional requirements include background registry enrollment, cpr/First aid certification, and the ability to pass physical and drug screenings.
