Preschool Teacher Assistant - Head Start - Jefferson

The teacher assistant supports lead teachers in implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-Being of children. They also assist with meal service, maintain a clean learning environment, and conduct child observations to support individual development goals.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and either hold or be willing to obtain a child development associate (Cda) or early childhood education certificate. Applicants are required to pass background checks, physical examinations, and drug screenings, and must obtain cpr/First aid and food handlers certifications.
