The teacher assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy classroom environment and creating age-appropriate lessons using the HighScope curriculum. They must also support the social and emotional development of children while building positive relationships with families and staff.
Candidates must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs and walk for 30 minutes at a time. They are also required to comply with all program and state or local policies.

8. Be able to physically lift and possibly carry a 40lbs child (as needed).
9. Be able to walk about 30 minutes around the neighboring park with children in strollers.
10. Comply and abide by the program and state/local officials' policies.
