Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities Support students with transitions, routines, and structured learning time Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Help manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques Supervise students during playtime, meals, rest time, and outdoor activities Prepare instructional materials and classroom centers Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces Communicate respectfully with parents and staff Follow all licensing, safety, and school policies Model Christ-like character and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

High School Diploma (required) CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or active enrollment in ECE program (required) Minimum 2+ years of experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred) Understanding of early childhood development Warm, patient, and team-oriented personality Ability to manage a classroom environment calmly and consistently Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs and actively engage with young children Ability to pass background screening and meet state requirements Alignment with the mission and values of a Christian school
