Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for teaching proper stroke and swim techniques while ensuring safety in and around the water. They must also engage with members and guests to provide high-Quality service and support the ymca mission.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold or obtain certifications in cpr, first aid, aed, and o2. Preferred qualifications include red cross or ymca lifeguarding and water safety instructor certifications, along with a satisfactory criminal background check.
