Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for teaching proper stroke and swim techniques while ensuring the safety of all participants in and around the water. They must also engage with members and guests to provide high-Quality service and support the ymca's mission.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess or be willing to obtain certifications in ymca/Red cross lifeguarding and swim instruction. A satisfactory criminal background check and child protective services check are required for employment.
