Assistant Teacher II (Powder Mill Campus-Beltsville, MD)

Support teachers in implementing individualized education programs (Iep) and adapting instruction for students with varied academic and medical needs. Provide classroom management and independent instruction during the absence of the supervising teacher.

A bachelor's degree is required, and previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain professional crisis management (Pcm) certification and meet specific physical requirements for student restraint and lifting.
