Under the general direction of the Site Manager and Instructional Coach, the Bell Academic Teacher is responsible for utilizing formal assessment data to develop daily, engaging lessons aligned with youth learning objectives and outcomes, while also engaging families in their child's learning, growth, and academic success. Responsible for the facilitation of scholar learning through the delivery of rigorous and relevant academic instruction in Literacy and Mathematics, that is engaging and developmentally appropriate for youth. Desires to enrich, inspire, and transform children into scholars and Bell Educated Leaders for Life. The Bell summer learning program is designed to address summer learning loss for low-income children living in urban communities and thereby enhance overall youth development, academic performance, and graduation rates.
