Park Schools Montessori is seeking reliable and flexible Substitute Teachers who can step in on an as-needed basis to support our classrooms. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and can quickly adapt to different classroom environments while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Step in for absent teachers and follow provided lesson plans or classroom routines Maintain a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment Supervise and support children in daily activities, including learning, play, and transitions Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and redirection Ensure the well-being and safety of all students at all times Communicate effectively with school staff regarding classroom updates or concerns Assist with basic classroom organization and clean-up
Experience working with young children (preferred) Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups (infants to 6 years old) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and classroom procedures Must be dependable and available on short notice when needed
Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience Familiarity with Montessori principles (a plus, but not required)
Schedule: On-call / as needed Hours may vary depending on staffing needs
