Bachelor’s degree or higher and special education license/ Experience will be considered if no bachelors Previous experience as a special education teacher is preferred Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills This position is not an on the job training position. You must already have the experience and ability to support students with special needs.
