Description Job Title: Early Childhood Intervention Specialist

Hybrid Remote

Bay Area Rehabilitation Center’s Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and services to infants and toddlers 0-3 years old with developmental delays or disabilities, as well as their families. This position requires an individual to be flexible in traveling to the child’s home or other community site for service delivery as well as offering virtual services as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify developmental delays or disabilities in children
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for children and families
  • Provide direct services to children and families, including therapy and service coordination
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care
  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
  • Educate families on strategies to support their child's development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disabilities
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for early childhood intervention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of children and families
  • Certification in Early Childhood Intervention or related field a plus
