Position Title

Temporary Assistant Soccer Camp Coach Compensation: $20.00 per hour Department: Intercollegiate Athletics Ops - Temp Start Date: 05/14/2026 About this opportunity: Ball State University is seeking individuals to provide teaching and instruction to student-athletes; support the head coach with all phases of the women's soccer program. Qualifying candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Description: The successful candidate will provide teaching and instruction to student-athletes and support the head coach with all phases of the Women's Soccer Program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide teaching and instruction to student-athletes. Perform duties in all areas of the program at the direction of the Athletic Director or sport supervisor. Develop, in conjunction with the Head Coach, planning of practice sessions and competitive coaching situations. Assess and evaluate talent and recruitment of athletes in to the program; includes contact by telephone and mail; off campus evaluations; on campus visits. Develop scouting reports and pre-competition evaluations of opponents. Make recommendations in regard to fund raising, promotion and marketing, special projects, clinics, and camps. Monitor, in conjunction with the Head Coach, the academic progress, the conditioning, and the training of the student-athletes. Show commitment to and responsibility for adherence to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American Conference, and the NCAA; pass the NCAA certification examination on an annual basis. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Successful competing and/or one year of collegiate coaching experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the University's Auto Fleet Policy.
