Position Overview

The Athletic Training Room is seeking candidates for Student Employment as an Athletic Training Student Worker.

Athletic training student workers will set up/clean up water and ice as well as first aid equipment during varsity sport practices and games as well as during sports clinics and hosted high school competitions. In addition, the athletic training student workers will provide first responder care in accordance with their certifications as needed. Other responsibilities such as light filing and cleaning may also be required.

Responsibilities

Set up/clean up for practices, games and clinics First responder care (first aid/splinting/AED/CPR) Light filing Restocking medical kits as needed Cleaning tables & whirlpool, laundry drop off, other daily cleaning as needed Learning Objectives: Gain knowledge of campus resources Provide quality customer service Gain an understanding of professionalism and confidence working in a fast paced academic environment Required Qualifications: Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certifications Must be able to to do some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs Available nights, weekend and during school breaks Persons with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
