Job description

Overview A private, organized, and highly engaged family is seeking a kind, energetic, and developmentally focused Career Nanny to care for their twin 2-year-olds. This is a long-term role within a well-run household. The family’s 4-year-old daughter has her own dedicated nanny, so the primary focus of this role will be the twins. That said, the ideal candidate should be happy to occasionally step in and provide support with the 4-year-old as needed, particularly during busy workdays or if additional coverage is needed.Schedule:Monday through Friday7:00am–7:00pm (flexibility to end earlier as children grow; evenings are typically low-demand)Travel: Domestic travel approximately once per month (up to 1 week at a time) International travel 1–2 times per year Travel stipend provided (approx. $50/day per diem) + all accommodations covered

Responsibilities

Providing a nurturing, structured, and developmentally focused environment Managing full daily routines: waking, dressing, hygiene, diapering Preparing healthy meals and snacks (breakfast, lunch, dinner at ~5pm) Supporting naps (typically 1:15pm–3:30pm) Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support development Taking children on outings when appropriate Encouraging emotional regulation and cooperative play Remaining fully engaged and present throughout the day Maintaining organization of children’s spaces Assisting with evening wind-down and bedtime preparation Preparing for and assisting with travel Collaborating seamlessly with parents

Requirements

5+ years of nanny experience; twins or multiples experience preferred Warm, nurturing, and consistent with the ability to provide structure when needed Engaging, creative, and developmentally focused Strong swimmer with the ability to supervise children in water and assist with swimming lessons. Confident driver with clean record and personal vehicle Organized, communicative, and proactive Discreet and professional Minimal personal phone use during working hours Passport-ready and comfortable with travel Flexible and adaptable Spanish-speaking a plus Salary and Benefits Salary: $150,000+ DOE Health, dental, and supplemental benefits PTO, sick days, and major holidays off Relocation support available Option for employer-provided apartment within 15–20 minutes for non-local candidates
