Location: Mariano Lake Community School

Requirements

The Speech Therapist must have

· Must provide a master’s degree in Speech Therapist from an accredited institution.

· Must provide current State of New Mexico License/Certifications in Speech Therapist.

· Must provide key personnel’s resume demonstrating experience as a special education teacher.

· Must provide a signed letter of commitment confirming availability upon approval by the BIE.

· Must successfully complete the required background investigation and security screening.

· Must provide experience of work similar in size and scope to this requirement.

Duties

· Provide student related services as specified in the student’s IEP.

· Provide on-site Speech Therapy services.

· Participate in all student IEP meetings in-person or virtually.

· Provide therapy plans for review and alignment of services to be rendered.

· Provide written reports for the Individual Education Plans.

· Submit quarterly progress reports and service logs.

· Complete full summative reports for reevaluations or evaluations.

· Provide parent/guardian involvement and answer questions related to student services.

· Provide monthly invoices and documentation of services rendered.

· Train local ESS staff as needed upon request.
