Job description

  • Autism Center of Excellence is hiring full-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for our Colonial Heights, VA clinic.

  • We provide paid training for motivated candidates with experience working with children.

Schedule

  • Monday –
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Clinic-based position
  • Compensation:
  • BT: $18.00 – $21.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic setting
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  • Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
  • Collect and record behavioral data accurately
  • Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
  • Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus
  • Active RBT certification preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Professional, dependable, and compassionate
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass required background checks
