- SUMMARY: Roland Park Country School located in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated JV Volleyball Assistant Coach. As a school committed to educating and supporting the growth and development of each student, RPCS fosters an environment where students thrive by lifting each other up and leading for the greater good. This is a part-time paid position that reports to the Co-Directors of Athletics and the Varsity Volleyball Head Coach. The Upper School fall season begins August 17 and runs through the end of October. Upper

- AND
- RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports and executes the vision for the Volleyball program at RPCS as communicated by the Athletic Department and the Varsity Volleyball Head Coach. Fosters strong connections with the athletes and inspires them to achieve their best. Implements proven coaching techniques and approaches that result in continued growth and success of the program. Develops the skills of all of the student-athletes in ways that prepare them for game performance and potential Varsity level participation in the future. Works in coordination with the athletic administrative team on scheduling, game day prep, out of season workouts, uniforms, and facilities. A strong communicator with all constituencies. An enthusiastic supporter of all aspects of the RPCS community life including academics, arts and the entire athletic department. Other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time by the Co-Directors of Athletics. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least two years of athletic and competitive coaching experience in a high school, college, or professional setting. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Local travel may be required for games and other program-related activities.
