• SUMMARY: Roland Park Country School located in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Varsity Field Hockey Assistant Coach. As a school committed to educating and supporting the growth and development of each student, RPCS fosters an environment where students thrive by lifting each other up and leading for the greater good. This is a part-time paid position that reports to the Director of Athletics and the Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach. The Upper School fall season begins August 17 and runs through the beginning of November. Upper

• DUTIES
• AND
• RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports and executes the vision for the Field Hockey program at RPCS as communicated by the Athletic Department and the Varsity Field Hockey Head Coaches. Fosters strong relationships with the athletes and inspires them to achieve their best. Implements proven coaching techniques and approaches that result in continued growth and success of the program. Develops the skills of all of the field hockey student-athletes in ways that prepare them for game performance. Works in coordination with the athletic administrative team on scheduling, game day prep, out of season workouts, uniforms, and facilities. A strong communicator with all constituencies. An enthusiastic supporter of all aspects of the RPCS community life including academics, arts and the entire athletic department. Other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time by the Director of Athletics and/or the Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Local travel may be required for games and other program-related activities.
