Assistant Teacher – Early Childhood Classrooms

The Learning Experience is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps maintain a structured and engaging learning environment while supporting daily classroom routines alongside Lead Teachers.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and contributing to a collaborative teaching team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily classroom routines and activities Support learning experiences that encourage early development Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers Prepare classroom materials and support group activities Communicate professionally with families and team members Follow all state licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma required Prior childcare experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable and nurturing approach to working with children Monday–Friday availability required
