  • The nurse promotes student health and safety, provides basic medical care, and helps ensure a healthy school community aligned with Catholic values.
  • Job Responsibilities

Provide direct care to students, including first aid, illness assessment, and emergency response Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies Maintain accurate and confidential student health records Monitor student immunization compliance and health requirements Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student health needs throughout the school day Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic conditions Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school Ensure compliance with state regulations and Archdiocesan health guidelines Maintain a safe, clean, and organized health office

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri CPR and First Aid certification Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education The Archdiocese of St.
