Market context
Washington school-based therapist roles are often driven by ongoing student mental health needs and school staffing gaps, especially in districts seeking licensed clinicians who can support counseling, crisis response, and care coordination. These positions can be competitive because employers usually want a master’s degree, Washington licensure or eligibility, and prior youth experience in mental health or education settings. Before applying, confirm your licensure status and tailor your resume to show school-based or adolescent counseling experience; this platform’s AI-summarized requirements and benefits can help you review the original posting faster.
