About the Role
Support students’ social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success through direct counseling services, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in the special education process. This role combines student-centered counseling with consultation, progress monitoring, and documentation responsibilities in a supportive, mission-driven school environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide direct counseling services to students identified as needing support
- Support students with social-emotional learning, coping skills, behavioral regulation, and school success
- Consult and collaborate with school teams, teachers, families, and related service providers to support student needs
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Write measurable, data-driven counseling goals aligned with student needs
- Progress monitor student outcomes and maintain accurate service documentation
- Complete professional progress reports and required compliance paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards
- Complete non-direct services, documentation, and paperwork remotely from home
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- Valid and current School Counselor Certification required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for student wellness, social-emotional development, and inclusive education
Preferred
- Previous school-based counseling experience preferred
- Experience supporting students with behavioral, emotional, or academic needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
