Job description
- Overview A kind, loving, and collaborative family on the Upper West Side is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly dependable, long-term part-time nanny to care primarily for their infant son, born in March.
- The family also has an older son, who is almost 3, and a full-time mother’s helper/nanny, creating a team-oriented household environment where flexibility, communication, and personality fit are especially important.
- The ideal candidate is nurturing, punctual, proactive, and comfortable integrating into a dynamic household.
- The family is looking for someone who can seamlessly adapt to changing needs, work collaboratively with parents and existing support staff, and become a trusted part of the family’s routine.
- While the primary focus will be infant care, the nanny must also be comfortable caring for both children when the older child is home from school, including school holidays, sick days, and throughout August.
- The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 11:30am.
- The start date is flexible, ideally July.

Responsibilities
All aspects of full-charge childcare Provide attentive and loving care Occasionally, care for both children simultaneously when needed Support morning routines and hand-offs Maintain infant schedules, including feeding, food transitions, naps, diapering, and developmental activities Collaborate closely with parents and existing household support Assist with light household tasks, including: Laundry Loading/unloading dishwasher Sanitation of bottles, pump parts, and toys Tidying play and child areas General household support as needed Foster a calm, nurturing, and engaging environment Support the achievement of age-appropriate milestones
