- Our Vocational Educational Specialist position has a flexible 20 hours per week schedule and is located in Keeseville, NY.
- What you get to do: Develop individualized vocational and educational plans including goals and linkages to support and resources.
- Support youth in identifying and pursuing career goals, training opportunities, and further educational pathways.
- Advocate for the implementation and/or continuation of 504 Plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Requirements
Education: Master’s preferred, Bachelor’s with relevant experience accepted.
Experience
- Experience working with youth with mental health challenges and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of educational systems, vocational services, and community resources.
