$20.00 Shifts: Full & Part-time positions available; day, evening, overnight & weekends.
Full-time Benefits (30+ hours a week)

Job Description
Under the direction of the Program Manager of Residential Services, the residential counselor will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, clean, therapeutic and secure trauma sensitive environment, which help residents gain self-control and develop positive social skills.
Responsibilities
Provide vigilant supervision of residents during all aspects of routine including recreational activities, group meetings, meals, bedtimes and program activities while taking opportunities to teach and role model by fostering professional adult/ child boundaries.
Facilitate group meetings and activities both on and off campus.
Attend training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and use these techniques to prevent and/or intervene in a crisis situation.
Thoroughly and accurately document all information and data required for funding sources and oversite agencies.
Requirements: and Education:
High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s in human services preferred; 2 years experience in related field may be substitute for a degree; strong written and verbal skills to communicate with colleagues and allied professionals in and outside the agency; ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member and maintain confidentiality.
