The assistant teacher will collaborate with the Head Teacher to create a nurturing environment for children and assist with classroom activities and lunch routines. Maintaining safety and adhering to educational standards are also key responsibilities.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and relevant credits in education or experience working with children. Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and meet caregiving demands is also required.
High school diploma, plus 15 credits in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Human Resources, or an equivalent field and one year experience working with children; OR High school equivalent plus 30 credits in the above fields; OR High School equivalent plus two years of experience working with young children. Vision Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds Must be able to meet the physical demands of child caregiving Schedule: Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM Split Shifts (optional): 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM & 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
