We are hiring an English Language Teacher (ESL) to provide in-person, customized lessons to children in Clarksville, Tennessee. Job Information: Ref.#197441 Format: small group class for an 8-year-old twin boy and girl.

--Student’s language needs and goals [boy]

The student needs lessons with hands-on activities and a lot of movement. He needs to be able to explain their needs at school, ask for help, and also make friends.

--Student’s language needs and goals [girl]

The student needs to build her confidence communicating at school, including understanding teachers, asking for help, expressing emotions and concerns appropriately, making friends, and developing culturally appropriate boundary-setting skills.

Responsibilities

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field. To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching ESL Experience teaching children is a must. All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
