Assist the Head Coach in the supervision and coaching of the Acrobatics & Tumbling Team. Support student-athletes in achieving academic success and assist in the recruitment of prospective athletes.
Requires a bachelor's degree, one year of coaching experience, and previous collegiate competing experience. A master's degree or two years of coaching experience is preferred.
Assistant Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time contractual exempt Assistant Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach position to begin in August 2026. The starting Base Annual Salary is approximately $44,948, which is pro-rated based on the contract term. The following benefits will be available on an annual basis: University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program. Five (5) days of annual leave Specific Holidays Three (3) days of sick leave May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.) that are available to State employees. Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage. FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference. The Frostburg Team claimed its first Event National Championship in 2023.
Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Acrobatics & Tumbling Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.
