Job Title: Middle School Soccer Head Coach

Location: Rudolf Steiner School

Season Dates: August 24 – November 1

Compensation: $5,500 stipend

We are seeking a passionate, dependable, and knowledgeable Middle School Soccer Head Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes both on and off the field. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a positive team culture, teaching fundamentals, and helping students grow in confidence, sportsmanship, and skill.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate practices
  • Coach and supervise students during games and team activities
  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and positive sportsmanship
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Support the social and emotional growth of student-athletes
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all players
  • Assist with team organization, equipment, and game-day preparation

Qualifications

  • Previous soccer coaching or playing experience preferred
  • Experience working with middle school-aged students is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
